ROW Function

Returns the row number of a reference

Syntax

ROW(reference)

  • reference  Optional. The cell or range of cells for which you want the row number. If reference is omitted, ROW returns the row number for the cell in which the function appears. The reference argument cannot refer to multiple areas.
